Jessie Duff (formerly known as both Jessie Abbate and Jessie Harrison-Duff) has had some bad luck in the background of her shooting career (resulting in a divorce from and jail time for her ex husband). In the spotlight, she made a big name for herself on Team Glock but left them when they refused to allow her to wear the name of a secondary endorser. She spent time on Team Smith & Wesson before winding up on her current team with Team Taurus. With Taurus she earned the coveted Ladies Steel Master title for the sixth year in a row. Her list of recent accomplishments are amazing but it isn’t anything new, she has half a decade of wins on her shooting resume.
There is no argument her shooting skills are impressive and she is easy on the eyes but can she teach? Pantaeo Productions released a DVD (when she was still known as Abbate) and it doesn’t disappoint. The dvd is available for $49.99 and is a good primer on starting in competition shooting. Jessie Duff was a shooter for Team Glock but is now part of the Taurus lineup. Her fans were disappointed. Glock has a far better deservedly earned reputation than Taurus – for product anyhow. We don’t know why she switched but we are positive she is a far better marksman than we are. Good luck Jessie.
